Joint EFFAT-FoodServiceEurope Position on the Revision of the EU Public Procurement Directive

FoodServiceEurope and EFFAT have published a joint position paper on the revision of the EU Public Procurement Directive. The paper sets out the priorities of the European Social Partners in the contract catering sector, including stronger social safeguards, a shift from lowest price to best value, mandatory contract review mechanisms, and a greater use of public procurement to support quality jobs and access to healthy food.
