FoodServiceEurope has elected Thomas Guether as new President of the association, effective from 1 September 2023. He succeeds Michel Croisé, CEO of Sodexo BENELUX, who steps down after 6 years in the role.

Thomas Guether, a German national, has been with FoodServiceEurope since 2021 when he was elected to the board as Vice President. He is Chief Growth Officer for Compass Group Europe & Middle East heading up New Business Teams, Client Success Management & Retention & Sustainability covering 20 countries of the Group’s 40 countries. He has over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles.

In his new role as President of FoodServiceEurope, Mr Guether will play a key role in helping to promote and empower the European contract catering sector.
