FoodServiceEurope presents its Call to Action: For the Strategic Deployment of Contract Catering in the Aftermath of COVID-19. This paper outlines the essential role that the contract catering industry can play in Europe’s economic recovery.  It calls on the EU to take concrete actions in three key areas to enable the industry to operate as effectively as possible. These actions include the strategic deployment of public procurement, taxation that reflects social utility and a holistic approach to sustainable food systems.
