During the General Assembly that took place on 11 June, FoodServiceEurope members unanimously elected a new board member. Thomas Guether, Compass, was elected as Vice-President, following the resignation of Cédric Barthelemy as Vice-President of FoodServiceEurope.

Thomas Guether is the Chief Growth Officer for Compass Group Europe & Middle East, which is Compass’ second largest region, covering 25 countries of the Group’s 45 countries and more than 130,000 employees. He has over 18 years of experience in various leadership roles. Before he joined Compass in October 2019 he worked in the BPO industry with a focus of global contact centre & technology outsourcing working for global BPOs including Sitel, Teleperformance and Capita plc.
